In 2006 Grossberger went to the Detroit Electronic Music Festival for the first time, and was generally underwhelmed by the festival itself. But the two afterparties he was lucky enough to attend completely changed his life. This mix is a tribute to Rick Wilhite, Delano Smith, Norm Talley, Jus-Ed, and the other great dj’s and people he met during the Colonel Abrams birthday party and the Detroit Beatdown party the following night. The tracks in this mix mostly came out afterward, but the vibe is the same.
